Sushila Wood co-authors the profoundly touching book, Good to Go. Through the sharing of patient stories and thought-provoking reflections, the book uncovers the parallels between the beginning and end of life, offering poignant and enlightening perspectives on how to go about having a good last chapter of life.
Sushila is an Australian writer, producer, Waldorf teacher, and mother of three. She runs a horse riding program for homeschoolers in Southern California and is the caregiver to her husband who is recovering from a serious stroke. She grew up in a musical home on the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia. As a teen it was her dream to produce video content about peace and life itself. She migrated to California in her early twenties where she had the opportunity to develop and produce the content she had dreamed of while traveling the world.
As her children grow, she continually seeks to learn how to best support her family and children in their journeys while maintaining the balance to nourish herself and her own interests. In 2019, she established a horse riding program for homeschoolers. She delights in meeting the children in their awe and wonder, and helping them develop a love of learning in wide open spaces.
I created this newsletter when I realized that if writing the stories of other people was worthy, so too was it worthy to write and share my own story and unique perspectives about the place I find myself often - between awe and angst.
